CULTURAL AND EDUCATIONAL GAMES

One of the company’s activities is creating entertaining and cultural and educational games for city sites, parks, museums and hotels. Each game takes into account the concept of the place, the audience, its mission and history.

These projects are always a symbiosis of an exciting game with a cultural and educational part that is interesting to the target audience. As a business, it is so attractive for management companies, where the game becomes not only an additional service, but also a business asset.
WINE PARK. MRIYA RESORT. CRIMEA
In October 2020, a large-scale Wine Park project and the largest winery were opened in Crimea, which is located on the territory of the five-star Mriya Hotel. The Lock Clock team developed an author’s game based on the history of Crimea “The Secret of the Alatyr Stone” and an entertaining game for children “Grimling Hunters”.

During the year, a team of historians and screenwriters worked on the project, who, in collaboration with programmers and interactive technicians, developed scenarios with unique tasks and technical solutions that were used for the first time.

The games were visualized by a team of artists and animators who created unique images of heroes and themed animated videos. All content has become part of the interface of specially designed mobile applications, which help players complete games within the park.
THE SACRED STONE OF ALATYR
Mission is to find and reveal the secret of the sacred stone Alatyr, whose centuries-old history is inextricably linked with the Crimean peninsula. To do this, players go on an exciting journey through the past of the Crimea, to be in the thick of things and help the heroes of bygone centuries: the Greeks and the first settlers, Catherine II and Count Vorontsov, Leo Tolstoy and Arkhip Kuindzhi. Having successfully solved the tasks, the players will receive 12 artifacts as a gift, thanks to which they will be able to solve the main riddle– the secret of the sacred stone Alatyr...

THE GRIMLING HUNTERS
Mission: while exploring the seabed of the coastal zone of the Mriya Hotel, scuba divers have discovered an ancient sunken chest. As soon as it was opened – incredible! – mysterious creatures, monsters known as grimlings, were released. To resolve this, a specialist in paranormal phenomena was urgently invited to the park to work on such a case, but there are so many monsters that he can’t cope alone. He urgently needs help...

The participants in the game are monster hunters who help the host, a well-known blogger. The main mission is to catch all the grimlings and save the park. The more monsters the players catch, the more valuable prize they will receive after completing the game. At the end of the game, participants must find an antique chest and cast a TikTok dance challenge, capture it on their smartphone and post it on their social networks.
In a specially developed application, we used unique tasks related to knowledge of literature and mathematics, puzzles for quick wit and logic, by solving which players can see monsters using AR technology and catch them (an example of the mechanics of the Pokémon game).

GAMES FOR HOTELS
Games in hotels is a new promising niche that allows hotels to expand their services both for clients and to promote themselves among the broad audience.

In 2020, our team won an international tender held by aworld-famous hotel chain in Barcelona. The game created by our team was based on the Bond movies and cult spy films. A unique scenario where players can uncover the phenomenal heist of the century and return a Pablo Picasso painting to its rightful owners. The game involves the public spaces of the hotel, as well as one of the best rooms in the hotel. Due to the pandemic, the implementation of the game was postponed until 2022-2023.
